The Silence of the Eagle

When Eagles are Silent, the Parrots begin to chatter
∼ Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill said these wise words referring to the unlimited debates of one house in a parliamentary democracy as chattering parrots, where the constant jabber seemed to overpower the importance and strength of the respectable leader. I, on the other hand, am no politician debating over important policies that may or may not improve the lives of millions, but I resonate deeply with these words from a personal perspective.

Soaring high in the skies, above the tallest skyscraper, the eagle spreads its wings wide apart, casting a shadow in the retina of your eyes, because its power is not to be missed. Its majestic flight works like a magical spell, capturing your valuable attention amid the flock of everyday feathers. The Eagle flies in solace, breaking free from the herd, demanding a sense of self and freedom.

A pandemonium of chattering parrots begins to follow the flight of the eagle from a distance. The space and freedom of the eagle was now obstructed, preventing it to soar as it may, hindering its focus and forcing it to seek silence to avoid the unending chatter. Quietly, the eagle changes its course to a remote terrain, waiting silently for another moment to kiss the beautiful blue sky again.

The Silence of the Eagle is Your Silence !

You my friend, are the formidable eagle, who has been silenced by the constant chatter of your frivolous thoughts – your personal aviary of talking parrots.

This is impossible for me to do !
My last relationship has turned me into a sour person
Who cares what I think ?
What if I fail ?
I’d rather just drink and forget what I want
Everybody is just evil

I give up !

Remember these chattering parrots ?

These parrots have been the sole reason why you seem to cower down in silence, breaking away from your high altitude flight, crushing yourself over the past and failing to pursue yet another flight of your dreams.

Leaders are born amid the loud chaos of blabbermouths, shouting their lungs out to stand tall for the right reasons and accomplish their goals. The bright side to this story, however, is you have no need to scream your lungs out to achieve what you desire. The chatterboxes are within you and if you feel like taming these voices then shout away once in a while to let them know who’s boss !

If you wish to learn how to tame these voices, I have a simple method that you may wish to read here.

It is hard to eradicate these chattering parrots, but it isn’t impossible. However, it is more important to bring the eagle back from its silence, soar high above every eye, and spread its wings like it holds the whole world beneath its beautiful wings. Don’t allow your thoughts to take control over your mind, for it is only built for greatness, and while you glide through the cool breeze achieving greater highs, don’t forget to take in the scenery once in a while 🙂

    Great post👌🌹
Don’t be a parrot in life, be an Eagle..
A parrot talks way too much but can’t fly high, but an eagle is silent & has the power to touch the sky…
