But my Soul says he was ambitious;

And the Soul is an honorable being.

Ego hath brought many weaknesses to Humanity

Whose ransoms did all of universal beings fill:

Did this in Ego seem ambitious?

When that the poor have cried, the Rich Ego hath rejoiced:

Ambition should be made of Selfless stuff:

Yes the Ego was ambitious;

And the Soul is honorable.

You all did reflect yourself in the mirror

Presenting the Ego a kingly crown,

Which he never did refuse but only ask for more: was this ambition?

The Soul says he was ambitious;

And, sure, the Soul is honorable.

I speak to lend a voice to the Soul,

And here I am to speak what I do know.

You all love your Ego, with various cause:

What cause withholds you then, to rise from it all?

O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,

And Souls have lost their reason. Bear with me;

My heart is with the Soul rejoicing at the defeat of Ego,

And I must never cease, for Ego is no more!
